Charles ‘Chip’ Moody, D.Min.

Dr. Moody has over thirty years of ordained ministry experience both in church pastorates and as a U.S. Navy chaplain, and is the Teaching Pastor of Mountain View Christian Church in Phoenix. As Dean of Students, he shepherds and counsels students, promotes Seminary community, and serves as a student advocate. Dr. Moody teaches in the area of Biblical Communication. He is a member of the Evangelical Homiletics Society, the Association for Clinical Pastoral Education, and has served on the faculty of Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University and Southwestern College.

Douglas R. Olbert, M.Div.

A retired Air Force Major, Doug Olbert came to the Seminary after 20 years of service as a flight and staff officer with the Air Mobility Command. In 1995 he joined the Seminary staff and has developed the Library from two shelves of books into a full-service, 86,000-item facility. With a Masters in Library Science, he is considered a specialist trained to provide the Seminary community with a wealth of information resources. Major Olbert has been involved in the youth, educational, and music ministries of several churches.

Roma R. Royer

Miss Royer has served on the staff of Phoenix Seminary since 1990. She has 28 years of administrative experience in Christian ministry and actively serves in the local church. In her capacity as Director, Miss Royer oversees Admissions, Records, and assists the Academic Dean with academic and faculty matters.

Lee Richards joined the staff of Phoenix Seminary in 2004 after spending two years on staff with a college ministry. Since 2006 he has served as the Registrar and in this role he serves our students as the primary contact for academic advising and information, helping them to navigate the path from the first semester through graduation. He is always looking for (and sometimes finding!) ways to improve the Seminary’s ability to meet the needs of students.
