Experience

Dr. Moody, who joined the seminary in 2006, became Vice President for Student Development in 2011.  He has over thirty-five years of ordained ministry experience both in local church pastorates and as a U.S. Navy chaplain. Dr. Moody, who teaches in the areas of Biblical Communication and Pastoral Theology, has several other leadership roles. As Dean of Students, he shepherds and counsels students, promotes Seminary community, and serves as a student advocate.  He oversees the directors of Student Life, Student Mentoring, Financial Aid, Enrollment, Alumni Affairs, Placement, and Field Education. He is a member of the Evangelical Homiletics Society, the Association for Clinical Pastoral Education, and has served on the faculty of Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University and Arizona Christian University.
