Experience
Dr. John DelHousaye joined the faculty of Phoenix Seminary in 2001 and predominantly teaches the books and language of the New Testament. Dr. DelHousaye serves the local church primarily through preaching and teaching, as well as through the development of discipleship materials. His academic interests include Jesus, Judaism, and non-Western expressions of Christianity. Dr. DelHousaye created and edited study notes on the Gospels for the ESV Study Bible (Crossway Bibles, 2008), as well as served as a consultant for the New Testament Charts and Timelines and wrote the article “Jewish Groups at the Time of Jesus.”
Leadership Positions
- Consultant for and contributor to the ESV Study Bible (Crossway Bibles, 2008)
- Developed discipleship curriculum “The Faith Practices” for local churches
- Started a church with 12 friends which grew to over 100 people within two years
