Register for Courses
Registration Deadlines
Spring 2012 Registration officially opens October 1st, but early registrations are already being accepted. Spring Registrations are due no later than December 1st.
Registration begins approximately 12 weeks prior to the start of each semester. Students are encouraged to register as early as possible to secure desired courses.
Registration Process
Step 1: Select Your Courses
Use the Registration Form to verify your Student Directory Information and to indicate the courses in which you want to enroll.
Doctor of Ministry students must use this form and fee schedule instead:
Registration Packet / Course Schedule (D.Min. Program)
The Registration Form can be faxed to 602-850-8080, scanned and emailed to registrar@ps.edu, or mailed to the following address:
Phoenix Seminary
ATTN: Registration
4222 E. Thomas Rd.
Suite 400
Phoenix, AZ 85018
Alternatively, you can email your course selections to registrar@ps.edu. Whichever method you choose, your Registration must be received no later than December 1st. Registration Forms faxed, delivered, or postmarked after that date will be charged a late fee. First-semester students and enrichment students are encouraged to submit their Registration Form by the Registration Deadline, but may submit it after this deadline without paying a late fee.
What happens next?
- Your Registration Form will be reviewed to verify that any pre-requisites are met and that none of the courses have reached their maximum capacity.
- You will be emailed a Registration Acknowledgment which lists your selected courses and itemizes the Balance Owed (after taking into account Scholarships, Financial Aid, and any existing balance).
Step 2: Pay for Your Courses
Use the Registration Acknowledgment to confirm your course selections and complete your payment information for the Balance Owed. (Payment options are: Check, Money Order, Credit/Debit Card, Tuition Installment Plan, Scholarship, or Financial Aid.)
The Registration Acknowledgment (including Tuition Payment) must be signed, dated, and submitted (by fax, mail, email, or in person) as soon as you have determined how you want to pay for your courses, but no later than the December 12th Tuition Payment Deadline. Acknowledgments faxed, delivered, or postmarked after that date will be considered late. Failure to return the Registration Acknowledgment with payment for the remaining balance owed by the Tuition Payment Deadline will result in the cancellation of the student’s Registration. If space is available, the student may be able to register for the course(s) again. The student will be charged a $50 Late Tuition Payment Fee in instances when a late registration was not authorized by the Registrar.
Address Changes
Any address changes should be reported to Judi Neill, Academic Services Assistant (jneill@ps.edu or ext. 115) so the Seminary’s database may be updated accordingly. Immediate notification will ensure prompt delivery of registration confirmations, grade reports, billing, and other correspondence.
Course Syllabi and Course Handouts
Syllabi for many of the upcoming semester’s classes will be posted to http://courses.ps.edu as they become available. Enrollment keys (provided on the Registration Acknowledgment) are required in order to access each course page. If a syllabus you are looking for is not posted, it is not yet available and will be posted as soon as it has been received from the instructor. For most courses, you can visit www.ps.edu/academics/course-descriptions for the most recent sample syllabi.
Course Cancellation
Phoenix Seminary reserves the right to cancel any course due to insufficient enrollment.
