Hello dear family and friends. Can you believe I am now in my SIXTH month here in Uganda? I cannot believe how quickly the time has passed, and yet in other ways, this has been the longest six months of my life. Lots has happened since I last sent a full update, and while some of you have known how I have struggled from prayer flashes and Facebook posts, I need to update everyone on all that has happened. My desire has always been to be transparent and to let you see my heart, and that will not stop now. I have been hurting a lot in the last few months, but GOD is good, and I still know without a shadow of a doubt I am right where I am supposed to be. So thank you, as always, for your interest in this journey, for the prayers, the notes of encouragement, and for your gifts, your letters, your care-packages. Even in the craziness, I have felt your love and concern, and it so greatly appreciated…more than you may ever know.
• Ongoing request for my Luganda Study. For perseverance, a clear mind, and grace for myself as I continue language study…that all of it would stick in my brain.
• For wisdom and discernment as I attempt to find a balance in life and direction in what HIS will would be in potential ministry opportunities in the coming weeks and months.
• For relationships…to build stronger lessons not only with my team, but also with some Uganda nationals.
• For my family…health, protection, and peace.
