Center for Women with Vision >
CWV History, Mission, Vision & Values
History:
Several years ago, a group of Christian women began praying for a center where women could see their individual dreams of ministry become a reality. Through a generous gift of an investor, the Center for Women with Vision is now open and ministering to the women of Phoenix Seminary and the Christian community. The presence of the Center affirms the gifts and calling of women to the body of Christ.
Mission:
To provide a safe connecting place where women are valued and launched for Kingdom work through resources that bring vision to life.
Vision:
To become a core of a vast support network of spiritually intentional women who lead innovative ministries with far-reaching outcomes, such as:
- Creation of unique, transformational programs
- Promotion of legislative, moral and ethical reform
- Replication of the Center model
Values:
The Center will model the cooperative effort of a team of women working together to direct the agenda, policies and activities of the Center (Philippians 2:3-4)
The Center will focus on working together with Chrisitian women to influence our community for the glory of God, inclueding : women who desire to begin a new ministry, women who are involved in or are seeking to participate in ministry and women who are preparing at Phoenix Seminary for future ministry.
The Center will align itself with the Doctrinal Statement of Phoenix Seminary
Women will be:
- Affirmed in their unique gifts and calling to the body of Christ.
- Equipped through relevant curricula, workshops, conferences and services which provide help in creating, building and nurturing ministries.
- Encouraged through “life-to-life exchange” to advance their ministry dreams and passions.
- Empowered by developing an effective philosophy, vision and strategy for implementing their own ministries.
- Educated through “life-to-life exchange” to give back to the Center with financial support and/or volunteering of expertise.
- Supported in their leadership roles by participating in ongoing groups and activities that provide affirmation and help in developing competency in ministry for the purpose of being “filled with all the fullness of God” (Ephesians 3:19).
Note: The Center does not take responsibility for launching ministries but for preparing competent women to launch their own ministries successfully.
