A Note on Faculty Availability

Student-Faculty interaction both in and out of our classrooms is a distinctive of Phoenix Seminary. Prospective students should be aware that in addition to classroom teaching and student mentoring, our professors are encouraged to minister to the larger Body of Christ by writing articles and books for publication and presenting research papers at professional society meetings. Faculty members are also periodically granted leave to pursue research, publication and additional training in their academic discipline. As a consequence, in any given semester a professor may be off campus due to leave, away for several days at a professional meeting, or speaking elsewhere on a particular day.
