Student Life Council

The Student Life Council is an active part of student life at Phoenix Seminary. Our goal is to promote community, provide support for the student body, serve as a liaison between students and administration and model Christian leadership.

Meet your Student Life Council 2013!

We encourage you to consider participation in the Student Life Council. Any Phoenix Seminary student who has completed 12 credit hours and is in good academic standing is eligible. Please contact Tiina Mitchell (tmitchell@ps.edu) for more information. 

Monday Night Life at Five

There is always something going on at the Seminary at 5pm on Mondays. Join your fellow students in the Student Lounge for delicious food and fellowship or attend one of the scheduled events.

Affinity Groups

Affinity groups are groups of students that share interests and passions. Currently, we have affinity groups for MDIV–BC Women and pastors/future pastors. Please refer to the calendar for dates and times. If you are interested is starting an affinity group please contact Tiina Mitchell (tmitchell@ps.edu).

Prayer Hour

Join fellow students at 5pm on the fourth Monday of every month for Prayer Hour. Whether you need individual prayer or would like to join other students to pray, Prayer Hour is a great time with the Lord.

 Study Groups

The Student Life Council facilitates the organization of study groups. For more information or to register a study group, please contact Jessica Ellertson (jessica.ellertson@yahoo.com). 

Mending the Soul Groups

Mending the Soul groups are for students who wish to participate in a safe and intimate environment for abuse recovery. Each group will use Mending the Soul materials developed by Steve and Celestia Tracy. All seminary students are welcome to participate.
