Phoenix Seminary does not just offer courses and grant degrees.
Our goal is to graduate students who exhibit Scholarship with a Shepherd’s Heart. Here are some things that will be a part of your Phoenix Seminary experience.
Christian Community
Christian community happens every day at Phoenix Seminary, sometimes intentionally and often unexpectedly. This community is shared with your professors, with fellow-students, with mentors and with seminary staff. Often these same relationships will be your support mechanism throughout your Seminary life and into your ministry for Christ.
Diversity
You will embrace the Seminary community’s ethnic, theological and denominational diversity as a real-world part of your Phoenix Seminary education.
Mentoring
Phoenix Seminary’s personalized Mentoring Program will challenge, encourage and hold you accountable to grow in Christian character.
Chapel
Twice a year, each fall and spring, you will join other students, their families, faculty, staff, board and investors for Chapel, worshipping as a Phoenix Seminary family.
Field Education
Learning outside the classroom in practical ministry settings, with hands-on learning, will be a vital part of your education and experience at Phoenix Seminary.
Pastoral Care
Phoenix Seminary realizes that our students live in the real world and face their own daily challenges. Student Affairs is available to provide pastoral care to students desiring it.
Vocational Guidance and Placement for Students and Alumni
As graduates leave us to enter ministry, they may need guidance in navigating their future. Placement services are available to all Phoenix Seminary graduates and students who are near the completion of their academic program.
Prayer
Phoenix Seminary undergirds all its effort with prayer, and we invite all students, faculty and all Seminary friends to participate in our prayer community.
