The Seminarian Community
Phoenix Seminary does not just offer courses and grant degrees.
Our goal is to help students develop and exhibit the character of “Scholarship With a Shepherd’s Heart.” As a student at Phoenix Seminary, you will experience “learning” not only in the classroom, but in the hallways, the student lounge, and the parking lot.
Here are some things that will be a part of your Phoenix Seminary experience:
Life Long Relationships
With you Professors, with fellow-students, with mentors, with staff. Often these relationships will be a support mechanism for your throughout your ministry
Christian Community
It happens every day at Phoenix Seminary. Sometimes intentionally. Often unexpectedly as you experience the Phoenix Seminary life both on and off campus.
Diversity
You will be challenged by our ethnic, theological, and denominational diversity as a real-world part of your Phoenix Seminary education.
Mentoring
Phoenix Seminary does not just pay “lip” service to this. You will be challenged, encouraged, and held accountable by our holistic, intensive, personalized mentoring.
Chapel
Two times a year, once in the Fall and once in the Spring, you will have the privilege of joining with other students, student families, faculty, staff, board and investors join together to worship as a Phoenix Seminary family.
Practical Ministry Experience
Learning outside the classroom, in practical ministry settings, is a vital part of the education and experience at Phoenix Seminary. You will have “hand on” learning opportunities.
Pastoral Care
Phoenix Seminary realizes that our students live in the real world, and that means they face daily challenges. Phoenix Seminary provides pastoral care and help to those students who need it, when they need it.
Vocational Guidance and Placement for Students and Alumni
Phoenix Seminary understands that as you go into full time ministry you made need guidance and assistance as to where, when, and how. Those services are available to all current and graduated students with no time limitation.
Prayer
Phoenix Seminary is a seminary founded and continuing on a solid foundation of prayer. We don’t just talk about it, we actually pray for individual people, ministries, and needs.
