30 Hour Review Scholarship
Award: 4 hours = $500.00; 6 hours = $1,000.00; 8 hours = $1,500.00
Description: Awarded during the Fall or Spring semester. The applicant must be admitted into the M. Div or M.A.B.L program. Applicant must be significantly involved in a ministry and have consistent worship attendance at their home church. Applicant may apply after passing the 30 hour review up to 45 credit hours. Applicant must have a high recommendation from a Phoenix Seminary Professor.

Bob Hilderman Memorial Scholarship
Award: 6 hours = $500.00
Description: Applicant must be admitted to the M. Div program. Applicant must be at least ¼ Native American and a tribal member who manifests Christian character. The applicant must be responding to God’s call to the Pastorate, Mission field or Bible College/Seminary teaching field. Applicant must subscribe to the doctrinal statement of Phoenix Seminary as well as hold to the classic normal/literal interpretation of the Scriptures.

Chaplain Scholarship
Award: 4 hours = $500.00; 6 hours = $1,000.00; 8 hours = $1,500.00
Description: Awarded during the Fall or Spring semester. Applicant must apply each semester. Applicant must sense God’s call to become a Chaplain in one the following categories: health care, fire department, hospice, rehabilitation, prison, law enforcement, corporate or sports. Applicant must be significantly involved in a ministry with minimum participation of twice per month.

Current Student Full Time Ministry Scholarship
Award: 4 hours = $500.00; 6 hours = $1,000.00; 8 hours = $1,500.00
Description: Awarded during the Fall or Spring semester. Applicant must apply each semester. Applicant may be male or female admitted to the M.Div or M.A.B.L program. The applicant must have been or is currently in a full time occupational Church or Para-Church ministry for at least five years. Applicant must be fully endorsed by their occupational ministry.

Dean's Scholarship
Award: 8 hours = Up to 50% of tuition
Description: Awarded during the Fall, Spring and Summer semester, applicant must apply each semester. The Dean’s scholarship is a need-based scholarship. The applicant cannot have more than $40,000.00 in non-mortgage debt. The applicant must be admitted into the M. Div, M.A.B.L or M.A.P.C program.

Finish Line Scholarship

Description: Awarded during the Fall or Spring semester. Applicant must have 15-25 hours remaining in the M.Div program or 10-20 hours remaining in the M.A.B.L. program. Applicant must have consistent worship attendance and be significantly involved in a ministry.

Finish Line Scholarship Application
Future Professor Scholarship
Award: 8 hours =$1,500.00
Description: Awarded during the Fall or Spring semester. Applicant must apply each semester. Available to M. Div male or female students who plan on a future career as a professor at the college or seminary level. Preference will be given to applicants who have demonstrated their interest by involvement as a teaching assistant at Phoenix Seminary or who have completed an internship at Southwestern College.

Glory by Grace Scholarship
Award: 8 hours = $3080.00
Description: Awarded during the Fall or Spring semester. Applicant must apply each semester. Glory by Grace is a need-based scholarship. Applicant must be admitted to the Diploma, M.Div, M.A.B.L or the M.A.P.C program. Application must be completed electronically (no handwritten applications will be accepted).

Description: Awarded during the Fall or Spring semester, applicant must apply each semester. Available to male students preparing for pastoral ministry. Student must be admitted to the M.Div program and actively involved in a Church Ministry.

Good Shepherd Scholarship Application
Kuns Scholarship
Award: Full tuition, books, and registration fees
Description: The Kuns scholarship is available to missionary students or students preparing for full time vocational ministry and who intend to be ordained by their local church or denomination. This is a full tuition, books, and registration fees scholarship available to students seeking an MABL or MDIV degree or a Diploma in Intercultural Studies at Phoenix Seminary. Greek Prerequisite classes are not included. Preference is given to new students or students who have just entered into a degree program. It is renewable on an annual basis.

MA Counseling Scholarship
Award: 3 hours = $500.00
Description: Awarded during the Fall or Spring semester, applicant must apply each semester. Available to male and female students admitted to the Master of Arts in Professional Counseling program. Applicant must have a 3.0 GPA or higher and have consistent worship attendance at their home Church.

New Student Honor Scholarship
Award: 4 hours= $500.00; 6 hours= $1,000.00; 8 hours= $1,500.00
Description: Awarded during the Fall or Spring semester, applicant must apply each semester. Applicant must be a recent graduate (within 4 years) from an accredited college or university with a verifiable cumulative G.P.A of 3.5 or higher. Applicant may apply 1st and 2nd semester only. Applicant must be able to articulate God’s personal call to seminary. The new Student Honor Scholarship can not be submitted in conjunction with the New Student Ministry Scholarship.

New Student Ministry Scholarship
Award: 4 hours= $500.00; 6 hours= $1,000.00; 8 hours= $1,500.00
Description: Awarded during the Fall or Spring semester. Available to male or female students who have graduated from an accredited four-year college with a G.P.A of 2.5 or higher. The applicant must be admitted into the M. Div or M.A.B.L program. Applicant must have been or currently in a full time or part time occupational church or para-church ministry for at least five years. Applicant must have a strong recommendation from a person to whom they report or are accountable. Applicant may apply during their 1st and 2nd semester only. Applicant cannot apply for the New Student Honor Scholarship in conjunction with this scholarship.

New Student Ministry Scholarship Application
President's Scholarship
Award: 8 hours = full tuition for semester (excluding registration and tech fees)
Description: Awarded during the Fall or Spring semester. Applicant may be male or female admitted to the M.Div or M.A.B.L program. Applicant may apply for the scholarship throughout the first year. Return applications to the financial aid office and a meeting will be scheduled for you to meet with the President. This scholarship is available to 1st year students under 24 credit hours. Applicant must have a verifiable undergraduate degree.

President's Scholarship Application
Returning Student Scholarship
Award: Assistance varies based on the availability of funds.
Description: Available to students who have attended Phoenix Seminary previously and had to cease attendance due to financial hardship. The student must have a minimum G.P.A of 2.9 before leaving Seminary. The applicant must take a minimum of 4 credit hours to be eligible for the scholarship. The applicant must describe their educational financial plan for completion. Student must maintain a 3.0 G.P.A during their 1st semester back in order to receive a scholarship for the 2nd semester. Both semesters must be taken consecutively.

Spectrum Scholarship
Award: 4 hours = $500.00; 6 hours = $1,000.00; 8 hours = $1,500.00
Description: Awarded during the Fall or Spring semesters. Applicant must apply each
semester. The applicant must be admitted into the M. Div or M.A.B.L program. Available to male or female students whose ethnicity or national origin represents a minority of the Phoenix Seminary student body. Applicant must be significantly involved in a ministry with minimum participation of twice per month.

Spectrum Scholarship Application
Veteran's Service Scholarship
Award: 4 hours= $500.00; 6 hours= $1,000.00; 8 hours= $1,500.00
Description: Awarded during the Fall or Spring semester, applicant must apply each semester. Available to male or female students who have exhausted their VA benefits. The applicant must have served on Active Duty for at least 18 months and must provide a copy of their DD214. The applicant must be admitted into the M. Div or M.A.B.L program.

Women in Ministry Scholarship
Award: 4 hours = $500.00; 6 hours = $1,000.00; 8 hours = $1,500.00
Description: Awarded during the Fall or Spring semester, applicant must apply each semester. Available to M.Div or M.A.B.L students who are starting or completing their 3rd semester at Phoenix Seminary. She must be significantly involved in a ministry with minimum participation of twice per month, and have consistent worship attendance. Applicant must have a calling to ministry work after graduation from seminary.

Youth/College Scholarship
Award: 4 hours = $500.00; 6 hours = $1,000.00; 8 hours = $1,500.00
Description: Awarded during the Fall or Spring semester, applicant must apply each semester. Available to men or women who are currently involved with a Youth/College ministry with minimum participation of twice per month. The applicant must be admitted in the M. Div or M.A.B.L program. Applicant must have consistent worship attendance at their home church.
